The Pink Bourbon variety is a hybrid of the Red Bourbon and Yellow Bourbon varieties. It's a very rare variety that is characterized by the pink color of its ripe drupes, its aromatic sweetness and its resistance to diseases.
Pink Bourbon, which grows perfectly on the heights of the San Adolfo region called Huila, is a coffee variety which requires meticulous care from farmers to control pollination and separate it from other Bourbon varieties.
This lot is carefully hand-picked selecting the ripest drupes and processed with the washed method to enhance the aromatic complexity.
In the cup there are very elegant, floral and fruity scents which remind us of peach, a pleasant balanced acidity and a soft body. We can also perceive some sweet chocolate notes and a pleasant aftertaste of pink grapefruit.
