You will be surprised by the aromatic intensity of this chocolate and, above all, by the amazing combination of the chocolate flavor with that of orange peel.

For this chocolate bar, no orange oil is used but only the most aromatic part of Sicilian oranges from which the peel is manually removed and then dried at 30 °C for about 36-40 hours. Afterwards, the zest is reduced into small pieces and mixed with the raw chocolate.

You'll be surprised by this remarkable experience of taste given by the use of natural ingredients combined to raw and cold processing methods which best preserve all the organoleptic qualities of these top selected products.

What is Cacao Crudo?

Cacao Crudo (which is the Italian term for Raw Cocoa)  is a new way of producing and tasting chocolate. In fact, Cacao Crudo is the first raw chocolate producer in Italy.

The company uses the finest single-origin cocoa variety Criollo from the Peruvian Amazon, which never undergoes a processing above 42°C, a threshold above which the deterioration process of various nutrients begins. The classic roasting process of cocoa beans is replaced by slow drying in protected atmospheres. In this way, clear, full and decidedly out of the ordinary organoleptic notes are brought to your palate.
